Hotels (see below for list!) We've arranged for special rates at three hotels (see below)--please make sure to ask for it (Persinger-Grossman Wedding) when making your reservation. There are only a limited number of rooms at this discounted rate so make your reservation early (you can always cancel it later)! If none of these hotels work for you, please check Kayak: http://www.kayak.com Location Our wedding Ceremony and Celebration is going to be in the heart of Boston's Theater District, near Downtown Crossing, and is accessible by the T (Boston's subway) as well as car/cab from Logan. These hotels are near both the Boylston St (Green Line) and NEMC, the New England Medical Center, (Orange Line) stops on the T. Getting Around Depending on your plans for your stay in Boston, you may want to consider NOT renting a car. Boston is a walkable city (just make sure you dress for the weather!), parking in Boston can be tricky, rentals from Logan are often expensive, and Boston drivers are, well, Boston drivers. The MBTA (affectionately known to locals as the T) is the nations oldest and 4th largest public transit system so in addition to enjoying an inexpensive ($2) trip anywhere around Boston, youll also be experiencing a piece of history! There's even a song about it which Joel will sing to you if you ask nicely(and, in fact, the new card system for collecting fares has been named the Charlie Card after this famous song). You can take the T from Logan to the hotels (you'll have to change trains once along the way). A cab is more convenient, though, and costs about $30 from the airport to the hotels. Flight Information Boston's Logan airport (airport code BOS) is the most convenient airport. Out of town guests may also want to consider flying into Providence's TF Green airport (airport code PVD), which is often less expensive. Boston is ~1 hour drive from TF Green (and would require a rental car).
